Local Search Expert, Eric Dean. I have worked very hard and long hours since my return to work in January. For those of you who didn't know that I ended up in the hospital back in November. I had gone through a few bouts of the flu, not sure if it was the H1N1 however the end result was it shut down my pancreas causing me to become Diabetic. I went into Diabetic Ketoacidosis. My blood sugar level was 804. I was in a coma for a day and a half. I almost died. Here it is February 2010 and I am back at work for about a month. They told me it would be a million in one chance that I would ever be non-Diabetic or off all meds. I am completely off of Insulin and all medications. I am truly blessed and give all the glory to God.

Now I would like to talk about the importance of getting your business found on the front pages of Google and all the other Search Engines today. This is prime real estate. Very similar to what the phone book was 10 years ago. The business that had the first full page ad under the service you provide gets the most phone calls, period. Today people use the Internet and the search engines to find what they are looking for. Let's face it we have computers at home, work and even on our phones that track where we are and give us suggestions that are location specific. Internet Marketing of your small business could not be more important then right now. Small Business Marketing is the way of the future for your business.

I have been helping businesses that service a specific area or certain cities, getting them found and driving new customers to them even in this economy. People are still spending money especially on the necessities, like when the plumbing backs up or finding a Urgent Care Office in a unfamiliar area.

I have done all types of Internet Marketing, SEO of one's website, Pay Per Click Campaigns in the Sponsored Links, Local Maps and Natural/Organic Listings of the first page. The latter has been the most effective mainly because it gives more information then the rest and also allows me to build a Customer Connection Page for businesses without a website to get found. It also puts their business on the front pages of the most powerful search engines in the world in each and every city they service or do business in.

I would recommend that all businesses have a website and have it optimized, get a local listing on the map in the city they operate out of and get the maximum exposure by having there business listed in the Natural/Organic Section in each and every city you service.
